Bassett Unified Students to Participate in Shred Hate Assembly Led by Major League Baseball

WHAT: Edgewood Academy fourth- through eighth-grade students will attend a school assembly hosted by ESPN, Major League Baseball and X Games in recognition of Edgewood’s commitment and enthusiasm surrounding the Shred Hate and No Bully initiative.
 
Guest speakers will include players and alumni from the Los Angeles Dodgers, such as Rich Hill, who will talk to students about respect, choosing kindness and being supportive of friends and classmates.

DETAILS: Shred Hate is a bullying prevention program created by ESPN, supported by Major League Baseball and X Games, that seeks to eliminate bullying by encouraging kids to choose kindness. Shred Hate uses The No Bully System which has proven to remedy 90 percent of all bullying cases in the schools where it's been implemented.
