Our Principal
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!
My name is Marco Leal, the proud principal at Edgewood Academy, home of the BRAVE Knights. I have been in education for over 20 years: as a tutor, teacher and administrator. It is an honor to serve the La Puente community, the city I grew up in.
Here at Edgewood Academy, the staff are dedicated to promoting a safe learning environment for our students, create balanced academic and social emotional opportunities to aide them in reaching their full potential and help them become life-long learners. We are the College Bound BRAVE Knights!
A few reminders to start off the school year:
- School begins on Monday, August 14 at 8:15am
- We are a uniform school (khaki or navy blue pants, and white, navy blue, light blue or burgundy polo shirt)
- Please drive safely and obey all traffic signs. All exits from the parking lots are right turn only.
