Bassett Unified Students at Edgewood Academy Present Science Fair Projects

She recorded her findings on a poster board and titled her project “Is Music Good for Your

Heart?” Moreno presented the results at Edgewood’s Science Fair Jan. 14 and was awarded

third place.

 

“I chose music because it is something that I am passionate about,” Moreno said. “Music is

something that can change your mood, so I wanted to explore the scientific side of that.”

 

Eighth-grader Emily Rojas was awarded first place and eighth-grader Erika Cenon was awarded second place.

 

The winners will present their science fair projects at the District Science Fair from 5 to 7 p.m.

on Thursday, Feb. 21 at Torch Middle School’s Watanabe Center. There will be 37 students

representing Edgewood Academy from third- through eighth-grade at the District science fair.
